Seasonal access and gate hours

Hours change by season, so check them for your dates.

Summer evening visits

In summer 2026, a night program ran from 1 June to 30 September, with evening visits after the daytime gates. Do not assume evening access in other months.

The winter schedule

A winter schedule applies from 14 September 2026 to 1 May 2027. In it, the village walkway is open 08:00–17:00 and the Antique Pool 08:00–17:30. Gate and ticket office times differ from the summer ones.

Sunset

The sunset over the pools is a popular photo, but do not expect to stay on the terraces after the gates close. Compare the closing time of the entrance you use with the sunset time on your date.

Water in the basins

Water is directed from basin to basin and some terraces are dried for a time. Basins are not full in every month, and the plan can change. Do not count on a particular color or level.

Crowds, heat and early starts

How to choose your hours.

Pool crowds

The Antique Pool is usually quieter early in the morning. In season it gets busier from roughly 11:00 to 17:00. This is a tendency at the pool, not a rule for the whole site.

Sunrise activities

Balloon pickups are usually between about 06:00 and 07:00, depending on the season, with the exact time confirmed the evening before. Flights depend on the weather. Paragliding also depends on conditions.

Sun protection

The Antique Pool bans suntan oil in the water. Apply sunscreen well before you enter, and bring shade and water for the rest of the site.
