Pamukkale tickets and entrance fee 2026
Foreign adults pay €30 for Hierapolis-Pamukkale in 2026. One ticket covers the travertine terraces and the ancient city of Hierapolis. Swimming in the Antique Pool, also called Cleopatra's Pool, is a separate extra, and the archaeological museum is free.
The fee is set in euros for foreign visitors but paid in Turkish lira, at the central bank's effective selling rate of the previous business day. The lira amount at the till therefore moves with the exchange rate, and there is no fixed lira price for the €30.
If you book a tour with transfer, look at the list of what the price includes. Entrance is often an option you tick, and the pool is usually extra.

Museum passes: do they pay off?
Two state passes list Hierapolis. Check the current list of included sites when you buy.
| Ticket or pass | Price | Validity | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single ticket, Hierapolis-Pamukkale | €30 | One visit | Terraces and Hierapolis |
| MuseumPass Türkiye | €165 | 15 days from first entry | One entry per site, more than 350 sites, night visits excluded |
| MuseumPass Mediterranean | €90 | 7 days from first use | One entry per site in Antalya, Mersin, Adana and Denizli. The Antique Pool and night visits are excluded |
The Turkish MüzeKart is valid for Turkish citizens and is not a tourist pass. For most visitors who only see Pamukkale, the single ticket is the simpler choice. A pass is worth working out only if you plan to visit many paid sites within its validity, for example along the Mediterranean coast. If your route includes Ephesus, add up its costs too: see the Ephesus ticket prices.
Where and how to buy
Individual visitors can buy tickets at the ticket offices at the gates. E-tickets are also sold through the state museum administration. The final price and any booking fee appear at checkout, so check them before you pay.
Ticket sales end at 17:00 or 18:00 depending on the entrance, so arrive in the morning. The gate times are on the opening hours page.

Before you pay
Four checks that avoid surprises at the gate.
Pay in lira
Euro prices are converted at the previous business day's rate. Bring a card or lira cash and expect small differences from day to day.
Bring ID for children
Free entry for foreign children up to 8 needs a passport or identity card.

Many tours list entrance as an option. Without it you buy the €30 ticket at the gate.
