Pamukkale opening hours at a glance
The site is open daily. The opening times follow a seasonal timetable, and each entrance has its own hours. The winter timetable runs from 14 September 2026 to 1 May 2027.
Summer times, including the night visit, do not carry over into autumn or winter. Closing time for ticket sales and closing time for the grounds are not the same thing, so plan to arrive in the morning. If you would rather leave the timing to a guide, compare Pamukkale day tours.

How summer differs
For summer 2026 a night visit was offered from 1 June to 30 September. It does not run in the autumn timetable.
The summer 2026 timetable looked like this:
- South and north gate open at 08:00, with day ticket sales until 18:45.
- Night visit from 19:00, ticket office until 21:00, closing at 23:00.
- Village footpath 08:00–18:00.
- Museum and Antique Pool 08:00–20:00.
These are summer 2026 times, not autumn times. Summer 2027 may differ, so check the current timetable before you go.

Planning around the hours
Four practical points.
Go in the morning
Starting at 08:00 gives you time for the terraces, Hierapolis and the museum before the earliest ticket cut-off. The warm months are also cooler early in the day.
Best time to visit →Do not count on a sunset visit
The night visit was a summer arrangement. Outside it, the footpath closes at 17:00, and there is no year-round sunset access. Check the timetable first.
Leave time for the pool
The Antique Pool has its own closing time and its own ticket. Its status has changed since the renovation, so confirm it is open.
Cleopatra's Pool →The museum is free
The archaeological museum sits in the Roman baths and costs nothing, so it is a good stop late in the day, within its own hours.
Hierapolis →Pamukkale opening hours: frequently asked questions
